Research of the Vertical Dynamics of the Supporting Structures of Freight Cars Made of Round Pipes

Purpose. This study is aimed at determining the vertical dynamics of supporting structures freight cars made round pipes. Methodology. Mathematical modeling dynamic loading main types pipes (gondola car, covered flat hopper car) was carried out. The studies were out in a plane coordinate system – XZ plane. At same time, it taken into account that car moving an elastic-viscous track so reactions are proportional to both its deformation and rate this deformation. for case empty cars. joint inequality described by periodic function. calculation performed speed 80 km/h. Differential equations motion solved MathCad software package using Runge-Kutta method. Findings. Based on mathematical pipes, indicators their obtained: accelerations acting mass center, forces spring suspension bogies, coefficients. For gondola acceleration center structure within 0.4 g, 0.5 g. It found obtained permissible limits. almost as those prototype assessed "excellent" "good" car. Originality. from obtained. Practical value. research will contribute creation recommendations design can also be useful developments innovative designs.
